it's that time of year again...
a time to be merry and to give bright.
all i simply ask of myself is that
i not forget why i am celebrating...
that i not forget the reason for the season.
as i find myself out and about
shopping for joy,
i pray i don't forget to give in the now
the real gift of the season...
the gift of love.
by washing the disciples feet, jesus taught us how to serve one another. it was also an example that it is "more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35.
demonstrate christ-like love and service and give an unexpected gift of service to a member of your family, a neighbor, co-worker...friend. it can be as simple as running an errand or making a lunch.
if you take some time and make it personal and meaningful...
just watch the blessings multiply.
